Mizuno JPX EZ Irons Graphite Irons 5-SW
Shaft: Orochi Shaft Flex-R
The deep undercut shifts mass lower and toward the perimeter for added forgiveness. The multi-thickness face design maintains ball speeds on offcenter hits.
PLAYABILITY: High, repeatable launch works well from a range of lies and can be lowered as needed; almost an autopilot mode when you’re feeling lazy.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: Favors accuracy, with a nice, tight dispersion pattern; very few fatal misses; hybrid long irons boost consistency.
DISTANCE CONTROL: Emphasis on “control”— among the easiest in its class to dial in; distance gaps mesh well for a blended iron set.
FEEL: Solid and smooth, with good weighting; excellent greenside manner for a Max GI iron; the hybrids fit well and get high marks compared with many competitors.
LOOK: More like a Game- Improvement club than a Max GI; dark matte finish gives the club a slimmer look; white grooves are easy to square up.
